Born in Scotland, brought up in Australia, Rich has managed to integrate into more than a few music scenes and now finds himself in Spain. With past projects such as Rusty River and his current work in Madrid-based outfit, Indigo Drone, he has found a way to fuse both pop and rock melodies with otherworldly textures, beats and layers. His solo work, under the name Rich Campbell, explores a variety of genres but always comes back to hooks and catchy material you might find yourself humming along to.
Rich has been lucky enough to work alongside certain producers such as Raúl Peréz (Pony Bravo, Guadalupe Plata, Kiko Veneno) and Bernardo Calvo (Carolina Durante) to record a number of singles, EPs and albums - the latest being So May We Live in Interesting Times, recorded at La Mina (Sevilla) which is where Steel Tongues and The Protégé came to life.
